Dim Sum is a traditional form of Cantonese dining where you are served many small bites, which can encompass a variety of ingredients. There are a lot of dishes to choose from, but my three favourites have to be Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), Char Siu Bao (BBQ pork steamed buns) and Cheung Fun (rice noodle rolls). These are truly stunning, each offering a multitude of wonderful flavours and interesting textures.

In today's newsletter, I’ll be showing you how you can make two of these - the soup dumplings and BBQ pork buns. There is a very good reason that Dim Sum is so popular… not only does it taste amazing, but the attention to detail in the small things across each dish makes it worthy of great appreciation. To get around some difficulties that could arise when creating this at home, throughout the recipes, I have provided some easier alternatives, whether that is with the techniques or the type of ingredients used. With this in mind, hopefully, everyone and anyone can enjoy making these in the comfort of their own kitchen.

Let’s show you how to make them…
